Icelandair is dynamically and the most progressive airline with more than 65 years of experiences in aircraft industry. Icelandair currently serves 24 gateways in North America and Europe, offering full range of services at affordable prices. Its domestic airport is Keflavik Airport which is about 45 minutes from Reykjavik – the capital city of Iceland. Icelandair operates a fleet of Boeing 757 jets on its scheduled routes. The planes’ seats and entertainment systems will be renewed in 2008. Today, Icelandair uses Boeing 757-200 and Boeing 757-300 jets for scheduled flights, and the company also oversees flights for other companies within Icelandair Group. Most of the fleet is assigned to providing conventional scheduled flights between Iceland and other countries, although some planes are leased to a number of domestic and foreign charter projects.
