Singapore Airlines marked its 60th anniversary in 2007. Since its establishment, Singapore Airlines has earned a reputation as an innovative market leader, combining quality product with excellent service. Singapore Airlines’ fleet today comprises 109 aircraft and has one of the youngest fleets of any major airline, with an average age of six years six months. Singapore Airlines became the world’s largest operator of the Boeing 777 family. In October 2006, Singapore Airlines launched a comprehensive suite of new generation cabin products comprising the world’s widest First and Business Class full-flat seat products, a new Economy Class seat and a next generation of KrisWorld in-flight entertainment system with more than 1,000 entertainment options. Singapore Airlines is the first airline in the world that flies the Airbus A380. Singapore Airlines begun daily scheduled services with new A380 between Singapore and Sydney on Sunday 28 October 2007. The Singapore Airlines A380 is configured with 471 seats in three classes, with 12 Singapore Airlines Suites – a cabin class beyond First – on the main deck, 60 Business Class on the upper deck, and 399 Economy Class seats, across both decks. This new cabin design ensures that the A380 will deliver unprecedented comfort, space and luxury to Singapore Airlines customers. The Singapore Airlines route network extends across 100 destinations in 41 countries, and offers ideal connection between Europe and Australia. Czech or Slovak passengers can start their trip in Prague, Ostrava or Vienna with our partner airlines Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa or Czech Airlines. Their flights connect to our European gateways Frankfurt, Milan, Paris or Zurich. From these gateways Singapore Airlines offers at least daily flights to Singapore.
